Why a book?

We often find ourselves pondering, "What exactly is Nordic Style?" Interestingly, this concept is often better understood outside the Nordic countries than within them.

We are passionate about coffee and the unique style of coffee that originates from the Nordic region. But what exactly is Nordic Style Coffee, Nordic Style Roasting, or the Nordic Roasting Technique? Why are there so many skilled coffee roasters in the Nordic countries? Who are the people behind the "Nordic coffee miracle"?

These questions are at the heart of our exploration. It seems that coffee enthusiasts outside of the Nordic region are more familiar with the term than those within it who are part of the industry. As we delve deeper into this subject, we've realized that providing a clear answer requires collective effort. We hope that everyone involved will contribute to help us answer these questions.

Why have we embarked on this journey? We've been involved with coffee in various capacities in the Nordic region for many years. When we suddenly recognized that we are in the epicenter of specialty coffee, we wanted to understand more. That's why we've thrown ourselves into this endeavor.
